Ray - Bomberman Live (XBLA)
This is a new version of a classic franchise, retooled with online muliplayer on Xbox Live. Anyone who has played a version of bomberman will be instantly familiar with the gameplay. The new additions are customizable charcters, and new and fun deathmatch options. This game is instantly addictive and has an extremely high replay value. For anyone not familiar with the title, the game consists of you playing against up to 7 other people trying to blow them up. I suggest picking up this game, its only 800 points on the Xbox Live Arcade.
Ron - Lemmings (PSN)
Solve clever puzzles that will wrack your brain, all under the geist of saving poor, helpless Lemmings. The player has to lead them to the exit using various abilities such as building stairs, smashing through walls, and suicide. Sounds nuts, and it is! Originally created by DMA (Doesn't Mean Anything), this update is done by Team 17 of WORMS fame, and their zany British sense of humor shines through. Offering new puzzles, new abilities, and lots of splattered Lemmings, this game will leave you scratching your head for days.
Jeremy - Summoner (PS2)
One of the first RPG's for the PS2, summoner will satisfy you craving for fantasy, magic, and hack 'n slash gameplay. It has its faults and it is a bit dated now, but overall it's a solid game, and for
under $20, you'll definitely get your money's worth out of the long RPG
storyline.
Justin - Fantasy Football (Online or Pen & Paper)
Its almost August baby, if I'm thinking cheap entertainment, I'm going fantasy football. If you're a fan like me, and sometimes even if you're not a fan, you're going to be watching a lot of football. Why not have some fun with all that knowledge you're getting and show your skills on a fantasy football field?
